A small plane made an emergency landing in Heckscher State Park on Long Island about two hours ago.
The plane landed in a parking field in the park located in Islip.
Two passengers were reportedly in the plane, one is a student and the other the pilot.
The plane was supposedly on the way to Brookhaven from North Carolina when the plane developed engine trouble.
