Amanda Bynes was arrested early this morning on suspicion of driving while intoxicated, after the "What I Like About You" actress collided with a police car at a stoplight.
According to West Hollywood Sheriff's Department, Bynes swiped the police car at the intersection of Robertson and Santa Monica Boulevards at about 3 a.m. last night.
A black BMW driven by actress Amanda Bynes attempted to pass the right of the radio car, colliding with the right rear quarter panel. There was minor paint transfer damage to both vehicles," a police statement obtained by People magazine reads. "Amanda Bynes was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence and booked at West Hollywood Sheriff's Station."
The actress was still in custody this morning, with her bail set at $5,000.
Bynes, who turned 26 this week, also had a run-in with the police last month.
TMZ reported that Bynes was pulled over for talking on a cell phone while driving on March 7. As the officer was writing up a ticket, Bynes reportedly sped off. She stopped by the police station later in the day to sign a ticket, and it was being investigated whether there would be any penalty for her driving off.
