Manhattan DA nowhere near convening a grand jury to seek rape charges against Greg Kelly

GREG KELLY

The Manhattan district attorney is nowhere near convening a grand jury to seek rape charges against Ray Kelly’s newsman son, Greg — and it may never happen, sources told The Post yesterday.

“There’s nothing to go in there with,” said a source close to the case. “The investigation as of now has not yielded anything to put before a grand jury.”

The alleged victim, a 29-year-old Manhattan paralegal and aspiring model, told cops last month that Greg Kelly, the son of the NYPD commissioner, raped her in October after a boozy night at the South Street Seaport.

The “Good Day New York” anchor has not been charged and has yet to meet with investigators from the DA’s office, which took over the case to avoid a conflict of interest. His accuser has had at least two meetings with prosecutors.

Kelly’s lawyer did not return a call for comment, and a rep for the DA’s office declined comment.
