Man impersonated NYPD cop, demanded free sex from hookers

Pennsylvania Ave. and Linden Blvd.

A cop impersonator who threatened to arrest hookers who refused to give him freebies has been arrested, police said.

Warren D. Taylor, 32, trolled near Stanley and Pennsylvania Aves. - a known prostitution strip in East New York - four times since the start of the year, luring tricks and forcing them to perform free sex acts to avoid arrest, police sources said.

Taylor gave his cell phone number to one of the women he attacked, a police source said, in hopes of becoming her pimp.

The NYPD’s Internal Affairs Bureau - which handles cases involving impersonations of police officers - was able to track the number, the police source said. The victims were then able to identify the man and his car through photos.

He was arrested Monday.

During one of the incidents, Taylor became violent and struck one of the woman in the face, police said.

Taylor was charged with criminal impersonation of a police officer, criminal sex act, patronizing a prostitute, assault, forcible touching, kidnapping and criminal possession for a weapon, cops said.
