Spring Valley taxi driver charged with raping passenger
SPRING VALLEY — A taxi driver has been charged with raping a female passenger he picked up as a paying customer on Sunday morning in the village.
Milton Gustavo Tenesaca-Tenesaca, 23, was charged with first-degree rape, a felony. He is being held in the county jail in New City with bail set at $250,000.
Tenesaca-Tenesaca is accused of sexually attacking a 26-year-old woman in the cab after stopping at 3:30 a.m. near 235 N. Main St., police said.
He told the investigating officers that the woman consented to having sex, Detective Sgt. James Noble of the Spring Valley police said Tuesday.
The woman told police she didn't know Tenesaca-Tenesaca and accused him of sexually attacking her after getting into the back seat of the cab, Noble said.
The woman told officers that Tenesaca-Tenesaca then let her leave the cab and she went straight to the Police Department, Noble said.
A patrol officer stopped an America Latina cab a short time later, Noble said.
The woman was brought to the scene and identified Tenesaca-Tenesaca, he said.
A message left Tuesday for the cab company owner or manager was not returned.
Police were waiting for a report from federal immigration officials on Tenesaca-Tenesaca's status in the United States, Noble said. He gave the police an address of 15 Crispus Attucks Road.
i think that only God knows he is not guilty and i hope the police find evidence to find him innocent
