NY: 4 teens face hate-crime charges after swastikas spray-painted on house
SOMERS — Four young men are due in court Monday to face felony hate-crime charges after being accused of spray-painting anti-Semetic slurs and swastikas on a Jewish family's Lewisboro home on Friday.
State troopers charged Michael Trapasso, 17, of South Salem, Cris Grispin, 17, of South Salem, Daniel Mitchell, 17, of Cross River and Michael Skalaski, 18, of Golden's Bridge with individual counts of second-degree criminal mischief as a hate crime and third-degree criminal mischief.
A second incident allegedly involved the young men involved the vandalism of a vehicle in the Oakwood Commons Estates and graffiti spray-painted on several postal vehicles in the Vista section of Lewisboro.
The four were released to the parents' custody. They are due in Lewisboro Town Court at 7 p.m. June 13.
Police said a female, who was with the men at the time, is still being sought for questioning.
