ST. LOUIS : Two separate shootings turn Barnes-Jewish Hospital into crime scene .




ST. LOUIS – One man is dead and another was critically injured after two separate shootings happened just blocks apart from one another in west St. Louis City.

Barnes-Jewish Hospital became a crime scene when those two shooting victims were driven to the hospital just minutes apart.

Police say they believe the shootings may be connected.
They also sent thanks to a Good Samaritan for saving one of the men’s lives.

The incident happened when shots rang out at the intersection of Minerva and Granville around 6:30 p.m. on Monday and struck a 22-year-old passenger riding in a Dodge Chrysler.

The driver rushed him to Barnes, but he could not be saved. That car became a crime scene,

Moments later, police turned their attention to another gunshot victim brought in by a man who saw the victim bleeding in the 5500 block of Wabada.

He has been shot in the stomach.

The drivers of both vehicles are cooperating with police
