Suspect Who Stabbed Yeshiva Student In Flatbush Is Arrested
After an intense investigation by the NYPD, the suspect wanted in the stabbing of a Yeshiva student in Flatbush, has been arrested. occurred on Motzei Shabbos, February 26th, on Avenue K and East 33rd Street.
Our sources tell us that the suspect was apprehended inside a courthouse on Tuesday afternoon, where he had been for an unrelated crime. The 20-year-old suspect has been identified as Otis Boone, and resides on Watkins Street in the 73 Pct. The exact charges will be published when they are available to us – but he has been charged with with 3 other robberies including the home invasion robberies located at 6910 Ave U.
The Commanding Officer of the 63rd Precinct, Captain Michael Deddo told us that the apprehension of the suspect was made possible due to the great cooperation and communication that the community has with the NYPD. He made special mention of Raphael Treitel, the Clergy Liaison assigned to the 63rd Precinct.
The community owes thanks to all the members of the 63rd Precinct who were involved in the case – most notably the Detective Squad – and of course Brooklyn South Chief Joseph Fox, Captain Michael Deddo, the Community Affairs Division of Brooklyn South, under the guidance of Lieutenant Jimmy Woods, and Sergeant Yitzy Jablon.
