Police are investigating a possible kidnapping in Holon
Sunday morning.
A 12-year-old schoolgirl in the city, located just south of
Tel Aviv, reported to police she had seen an older man push a young girl into
the trunk of a black car and drive away.
Police have launched a massive search for the vehicle and
were contacting all schools in the Holon area to determine if any
schoolchildren were unaccounted for. Roadblocks have been set up near the area
of the kidnapping.
The girl who reported the alleged kidnapping was
volunteering as a crossing guard near a local school on Shaar Ha’arayot Street
in the Kiryat Sharet neighborhood.
“No school has yet reported a missing child,” a statement
from the Tel Aviv Region police said.
