Boro Park - Ambulance Responding To Call Slams Into School Bus

NEW YORK - An ambulance slammed into a school bus that had children on board on Sunday night.

The accident happened around 9:00 p.m. in Borough Park. Two FDNY members were taken to Lutheran Hospital in serious condition. Sixteen teenagers suffered minor injuries in the accident.

The group on the school bus was returning from a religious school. The ambulance was responding to a call at the time of the accident.

Officials on the scene said that weather may have played a role in the accident which remains under investigation.
