KIRYAS JOEL - Over two dozen children were injured this
morning in a school bus accident in Rockland County.
Police say a school bus carrying 50 children to class at the
United Talmudic Academy collided with an empty Monroe Coach commuter bus just
after 7:30 a.m. today at Rimenev Court in Kiryas Joel.
Twenty-five kids, mainly fifth- and sixth-grade boys, were
taken to Orange Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. All have since been
released. Both bus drivers were not taken to the hospital.
