The picture of an Israeli flag was taken outside the Hamad
Aquatic Center (Aspire) where the FINA Swimming World Cup took place on October
20 and 21.
Sara AlDisi, who tweeted the picture, said that Qataris and
residents where seriously shocked when they saw the tweet.
According to Sara, Israeli swimmers were
"secretly" participating in the swimming world cup: "Qatar
Olympic Committee made sure to never mention Israeli when listing countries in
news."
She said some people where shocked because the flag was so
boldly put up both outside and inside Hamad Aquatic Center. According to her,
this never happened even though Israelis came here before.
