Rabbi Eliezer Berland Won't Go to Uman This Year

For the first time in years, Rabbi Eliezer Berland, who leads the Shuvu Banim (Return Sons) movement, will not be spending the Days of Awe in the Ukrainian city of Uman, site of the Tomb of Rabbi Nachman of Breslav, for fear he will be arrested on suspicion of committing indecent acts against his followers.

According to various reports, the Israel Police have asked the international police organization Interpol to assist in arresting the rabbi.
Rabbi Berland is expected to stay with his followers in Morocco, where he has been for the last six months.
