Jerusalem District Attorney filed an indictment against
Rabbi Moshe Shapira, 78, for soliciting aggravated assault. According to the
indictment, Shapiro has incited a father whose children were abused by
pedophiles to assault a woman they suspected of running a pedophile ring.
The defendant allegedly instructed the parents to beat the
woman until she is hospitalized, adding "I don't care if there won't be a
person left to hospitalize." Following the alleged advice, the father and
three other suspects went to the woman's home, tied her up and beat her for
about an hour and a half.
