Trial of Former Chief Rabbi to Begin in Ten Days

The trial of former Sephardi Chief Rabbi Eliyahu Bakshi-Doron has been set for ten days from Monday (January 10, 2013) at the Jerusalem District Court.

Last week, the Rabbi was indicted for allegedly being complicit in granting around 1,000 fake rabbinical ordination certificates to members of the security services so that they could receive significantly higher wages.
