Emanuel Yegutkin, Brooklyn yeshiva principal guilty of molesting boys

A BROOKLYN yeshiva principal was convicted Monday of molesting three brothers for 10 years, starting in 1996 when he fondled one of the boys beneath the Sabbath table.

Emanuel Yegutkin, 33, was found guilty of 75 counts, with the top one — sustained sexual abuse of a child — carrying a sentence of 25 years in prison.

“This violent sexual predator faces the remainder of his life behind bars,” said Brooklyn District Attorney Charles Hynes.

Yegutkin — who founded the Elite High School in Bensonhurst — was a close friend of the boys’ father and a frequent visitor to their Flatbush home.

He was found guilty of abusing two of the boys from 1996 until 2005, starting when they were 7. He also showed pornography to the third one in 2008, leading to his arrest in early 2009.

The older brother testified the abuse started when Yegutkin sat next to him during the Sabbath meal and rubbed his private parts under the table.
