NJ - Swastika found chalked on Clinton Township rabbi's driveway

CLINTON TWP. - Someone drew a swastika in chalk on a local rabbi's driveway, and police are now searching for the culprit.

One or more unknown persons drew a swastika in white chalk on the driveway of a rabbi's home in the township sometime between 8:30 and 11:45 a.m. Monday, July 30, police said.

Neighbors of the rabbi reportedly noticed the swastika, photographed it, and then erased it. The victim then brought the photographs to police headquarters and filed a report, officials said.

The Clinton Township Police Department is investigating the matter as a Bias Intimidation incident, and asks that anyone with information contact Detective Paul Bate at (908) 735-6000 or leave an anonymous tip at 1-888-735-8477
