NYPD investigating more swastikas in Brooklyn

A spraypainted swastika was discovered Friday in Borough Park. On Sunday another graffiti swastika was discovered nearby. Cops are probing the incidents

Brooklyn - The NYPD is investigating after two spray-painted swastikas were discovered on a van and on a street sign in the Kensington section of Brooklyn.

Police say a passer-by called 911 to report the graffiti on Sunday night.

By Monday morning, the anti-Semitic sign on the van at East 2nd St. had been covered with tape.

The department's Hate Crimes Task Force is investigating the signs as a possible bias crime.

The incident comes days after police said they were looking for two men connected to similar incidents nearby. Police released surveillance video showing one of the men spray-painting a wall.

A synagogue and five other buildings in the Borough Park neighborhood were defaced on Friday.

  1. "Rabbi Chaim Rubin" has shown time and again utter contempt of any agreement he has made with the neighborhood. He has broken every agreement and then pulls the Anti Semite card when the city tries to shut him down. It has worked so far _ But his end is near.
He is a disgrace to the name "Rabbi"
    A Jewish Neighbor
