Jerusalem - As police continue their investigation into allegations of extortion against Israeli site B’Chadrei Chareidim, noted askan and newspaper publisher Dudi Zilbershlag continues to make the news, charging that B’Chadrei Chareidim was paid $150,000 to discredit him publicly.

Three senior members of the news site were arrested on Sunday.

Zilbershlag made the news several months ago when two businessmen attempted to blackmail him by hiring an actress who pretended to be a potential donor to Bikur Cholim Hospital. Zilbershlag is a former senior official at the hospital.

In an interview with Arutz Sheva, Zilbershlag accused B’Chadrei Chareidim of slandering him by leveling additional accusations that were not relevant to the blackmail story.

“When B’Chadrei Chareidim reported the story they also included charges that had no connection to the incident, saying I was under police investigation, was being accused of theft and of other improprieties during my time at Bikur Cholim,” said Zilbershlag.

Zilbershlag’s lawyer reviewed the story on B’Chadrei Chareidim and found forty one counts of defamation in the story. Zilbershlag is suing the news site for 750,000 NIS.

“I spoke to B’Chadrei Chareidim and they told me to send them a reaction to their story,” said Zilbershlag. “My lawyer sent it to them and they published it, but never retracted any of the lies that were in the original story. There is no doubt that my detractors paid them to slander me.”

According to Zilbershlag, the editor of the news site told the publisher, “you are doing something terrible to Dudi Zilbershlag,” and the publisher responded “I’m sorry, but I received $150,000 for this and I am not going to back down.”

"כשהתפרסמה ברבים פרשת נערת הפיתוי" מספר זילברשג, "קיבלת סיקור הוגן ומאוזן בכל גופי התקשורת. בחדרי חרדים בחרו להביא תיאורים שלא היו קשורים, על גניבת כספים, חקירת משטרה, דרישה לפיטורי מהנהלת ביקור חולים ועוד".

זילברשלג מספר על התביעה שהגיש לאחרונה כנגד האתר, "עורך הדין שלי דרור ארד יעלון, איתר בתוך הידיעה החדשותית, 41 סעיפי לשון הרע. מעבר לכתבות החדשותיות, נפתחו בפורומים אשכולות שבהם היו 7 אנשים עם שמות מסויימים, שמאוחר יותר התברר לנו שהם שמות של אנשי ההנהלה. הם השתמשו בכתיבה בפורום כשכירי מקלדת, כדי לכתוב נגדי דברים יוצאי דופן בחריפותם וברמת העלילה שלהם".

"לפני התביעה פניתי אליהם והם אמרו לי שאם אתה רוצה תשלח תגובה. עורך דיני שלח להם תגובה, והם הכניסו את תגובתו ללא שינוי של דברי השקר שהיו בכתבה. התביעה על סך 750,000 ש"ח. בימים שהם קיבלו את התביעה, הם פתחו שוב מחדש סדרת אשכולות מאוד מאוד תוקפנית כנגדי, שהמטרה שלה הייתה, כך אני מבין להניא אותי מהגשת התביעה".

"לאחר התביעה עלתה בפורום ידיעה, 'היכונו לשערורייה חדשה עם דודי זילברשג, עם אישה נשואה ברמת שלמה'. רמת שלמה זו השכונה בא אני מתגורר. אמרתי בהלצה, שהכוונה הייתה לאשתי, שהיא אישה נשואה. בפורום אתה לא צריך להוכיח כלום, וזה נמצא במקום שנחשב מחוץ לתחום האחריות שלהם".

לסיום חושף זילברשג כי האתר קיבל כסף כדי להכפיש אותו, "יריבים שלי שילמו לאתר בחדרי חרדים כדי שיכפישו אותי. אני לא הייתי מהצד של הדרישה לכסף כדי להוריד חומרים. המשטרה כבר מחזיקה בחלק מהראיות, ואני מקווה שהחקירה הזאת תבשיל עד תום. בכיר באתר שפרש בעקבות הפרשה, אמר למנכל, 'אתם ממש עושים עוול לדודי זילברשג'. בתגובה אמר לו המנכ"ל, 'אני מצטער, קיבלתי 150 אלף דולר בשביל זה, אני לא מזיז כלום".
