NYPD Search For Subway Groper

The NYPD is looking for the man in this photo. Police say he grabbed a woman's buttocks as she left the Franklin Avenue station in Brooklyn.

BROOKLYN - The NYPD is searching for a man who grabbed a woman's buttocks as she tried to leave the Franklin Avenue subway station in Brooklyn.

The man had been sitting directly across from the victim on Wednesday afternoon on the 'S' train when he made obscene gestures.

He then followed her out and grabbed her from behind, according to police.

The 24-year-old woman slapped the man in the face causing him to run off.

Police released a photo of the man taken by the woman while aboard the train.

He is described by police as a Black male in his 30s, about 6 feet tall with a medium build, balding head and was wearing eyeglasses.
