Miss Congeniality she ain't.
A retired Miss Russia is back in jail after getting kicked out of her Bronx-based drug rehab program for allegedly slapping another female patient and making unauthorized trips to the fridge.
The accusations have cost the former Miss Universe finalist, Anna Malova, 39, her freedom for now -- and possibly her chance at a no-jail, no-record, no-deportation deal on charges of prescription theft and shoplifting.
Until the slap-down -- which officials said was prompted Sunday after Malova read two pages out of the diary of another patient -- Malova had been allowed to stay free on a 44-count indictment charging she filched prescription sheets from two of her psychiatrists and used them to get the painkillers Vicodin and Klonipin.
The drug program and narcotics prosecutors are being too hard on her, complained her lawyer, Robert Gottlieb.
"Drug treatment has its ups and downs," he told Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Marc Whiten in asking that the ex-queen not be "put in a cage."
But while that may be true, with the downs comes punishment, noted the judge, sending Malova to the clink so she can "refocus on her infractions."
She's back in court Tuesday.
Malova had been crowned Miss Russia in 1998; she was once linked romantically to billionaire hedge-fund big George Soros and comedian Garry Shandling.
