A Gerrer hasid tried to stop two Sicarii members from posting signs from Eidah Charedit condemning Gerrer violence against the Sicarii. The two haredi groups are fighting for control over the Batei Warsaw houses in Mea Shearim. Both Ger and the Sicarii are known to be exceedingly violent, and the Sicarii are often compared to the Mafia because of its extortion of Mea Shearim area businesses. The Sicarii didn't like the Gerrer hasid's intervention and they beat him so seriously that he needed to be taken to the hospital.
This isn't the most serious attack in this war between the Mea Shearim-based anti-Zionist Sicarii and Gerrer hasidim.
Less than a month ago, a gang of Gerrer hasidim 10 to 20 strong beat a Sicarii leader with clubs and iron rod so seriously that he was hospitalized in serious condition with head injuries, internal and external bleeding and broken bones.
And a few months ago a gang of Gerrer hasidim burst into the same Sicarii leader's house in Mea Shearim, doused the interior with gasoline, doused a baby with gasoline, and set the occupied house on fire. The Sicarii leader's family, however, including the baby, managed to escape.

יממה לאחר שבד״צ 'העדה החרדית' פרסם מכתב נגד האלימות בציבור החרדי, האלימות ממשיכה לתת אותותיה.
הפעם, מי שטעם מנחת זרועם של הסיקריקים הוא א.ל. - אברך צעיר תושב בית שמש, שנקלע הבוקר (ה') לויכוח אלים במהלכו הותקף קשות.
אהרן מנחם רוסט, בנו של הסיקריק שלום דוב רוסט מבתי ורשה, ואדם נוסף המוכר כאחד מסיקריקי בית שמש, התעקשו להדביק את המודעות של 'העדה' נגד אלימות, דווקא בשכונה בה מתגוררים רבים מחסידי גור.
לטענת האברך החסידי, בעוד הוא מנסה למנוע זאת מהם, התנפלו עליו השניים, התיזו לעיניו גז מדמיע והיכוהו בגופו.
האברך ההמום הצליח להימלט מהמקום, נזקק לטיפול רפואי ופונה לבית החולים 'מעייני הישועה'.
לאחר התייעצות, החליטו במשפחת האברך לפנות למשטרה והגישו תלונה נגד התוקפים, שזהותם ידועה, בגין תקיפה חמורה.
עסקנים מציינים, כי בהודעת הגינוי של 'העדה' נכתב, כי אם יהיה מקרה אלימות נוסף, תקום קול זעקה גדולה ו״כל הגולה תעלה כמדורת אש״. "האם הזעזוע יישמע בחוצות העיר או שהמותקף לא מזיז לאנשי מאה שערים?", שאלו.
בינתיים, מתייצב 'המותקף' מול המצלמות - ומציג לעיני כל את ה'חבורות' שספג מה'סיקריקים'.
