Son Of Brooklyn Jewish Murder Victim Pleads For Help To Catch Killer

A heartbroken Brooklyn man whose mother was murdered in front of her home is speaking out and pleading for help in catching her killer.

Vadim Komsky struggled through the pain to find the words about his mother, Larisa. She was killed Tuesday by a man police said followed her from her business to her home, stabbing her when she was getting out of her car.

Larisa Komsky, 50, was pronounced dead at Coney Island Hospital.

“Whoever did this has to get caught. If a woman like her, a woman that just does some good for everybody can get murdered. How can you live like that?” Komsky asked.

Detectives believe Larisa Komsky’s killer targeted her and are looking at her business records and surveillance video.

“I can’t believe it. I don’t think it’s true. I just want to wake up. This is a bad dream. That’s just — not ending right now,” Vadim Komsky said.

For her son, it’s “not ending” because a killer is still out there and “a bad dream” because Larisa Komsky was her son’s inspiration.

Komsky, an accountant, ran her own business in Sheepshead Bay, a couple of miles from her home.

Shocked neighbors described Komsky as a friendly woman, who went to shul regularly at a synagogue on her block.

Witnesses told police they saw a green mini-van fleeing from the scene.

“Step forward — if you’ve seen something. If you heard something. Any little bit of information will help,” Vadmin Komsky said.
