Man Arrested For Allegedly Viewing Child Porn on Airplane

A Utah man was allegedly looking at child porn during a flight from Salt Lake City to Boston, police said

BOSTON – A man on a Delta Airlines flight from Utah was arrested at Boston's Logan Airport on Saturday afternoon for allegedly viewing pornographic images of children on his laptop during the flight.

Grant Smith, 27, of Cottonwood Heights, Utah was interviewed by Massachusetts State Police just after 4 p.m. Following that interview, Smith was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography.

Police officials tell Fox News that Smith was seated in seat 4A of the first class section. A passenger observed Smith's computer screen and alerted the flight crew that he was allegedly viewing child porn.

Smith is being held at the Logan Airport Barracks on $15,000 bail.

Police say the investigation is ongoing and more charges against Smith may follow.
