Stephen Lennon – known as Tommy Robinson – was previously convicted of rioting during a soccer match, and speaking at the EDL rally violated his parole.
The EDL is generally antisemitic, although it is violently racist and anti-Muslim, and seeks to expel all Muslims from Great Britain.
