NY - Mugger Caught On Surveillance Robbing Wheelchair-bound Woman



 

BUSHWICK, NY - Police are looking for the heartless mugger who was caught on surveillance snatching a purse from a wheelchair-bound woman in Brooklyn.

The robbery happened July 20th just after 1 p.m. at the corner of Wyckoff Ave. and Bleecker St. in the Bushwick section of the borough, police said.

The suspect can be seen on surveillance footage walking south on Wyckoff Ave., then suddenly reaching over and pulling the purse off the elderly woman's lap before running away.

The man is described by police as a white male, roughly 6' tall, 180 lbs., wearing a gray t-shirt and dark colored short with a white stripe.
