Madonna planning vacation in Israel

Two years after her last visit to Holy Land, American pop icon and Kabbalah fan expected to arrive again in September for private visit

Almost two years have passed since Madonna's last visit to Israel, and Ynet has learned that the American pop icon is planning a private vacation in the Holy Land this coming September.

In the past two months, Madonna's managers have been holding talks with an Israeli production company asked to organize the vacation.

Madonna performed in Israel twice less than two years ago. She arrived with her former partner, model Jesus Luz, and held separate meetings with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Opposition Chairwoman Tzipi Livni.

The visit received extensive media coverage and included failed attempts to avoid the paparazzi.

It's unclear if Madonna's planned visit, which is expected to last several days, has anything to do with the Kabbalah Center which she has close relations with.

Hollywood couple Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher is expected to land in Israel in mid August to attend the bar mitzvah of the grandson of Kabbalah Center founder Rabbi Shraga Berg.
