Here we go again ... subway pole-dancer caught on tape doing impromptu dance on L train

Cover your eyes, kids.

A trip on the L train turned into a surprise striptease show for Brooklyn-bound L train passengers when a man in high heels and tight shorts began an X-rated dance.

The video, which was posted on YouTube and later Gawker.com Thursday, was taken Wednesday night by Ryan Wenzel, 26. He was headed home from "Slaughter on Tenth Avenue" - ironically, a ballet performance that featured a stripper - when a crowd of people walked on the train and began the impromptu show.

"I was writing an email and all of a sudden, I look up, and was like, "Oh my god, there's a man in underwear and heels,'" he told the Daily News. "Everyone sitting on my end of the train wasn't in on it, and were looking around like 'What the hell is happening?' "

The performance, according to Wenzel, went on between the Eighth and Sixth Ave. stops on the L train.

It turns out, the performance wasn't completely random.

According to Jacob Krupnick, the scene was part of Girl Walk, an epic music video to go with the new "Girl Talk" album.

"We were filming a scene in which two of our core dancers incite a small dance party, and much to our delight, it grew with passerby[s]," Krupnick, the video's director and cinematographer said in an email to the Daily News.

But to unsuspecting passengers, the subway striptease is just the latest bizarre subway antics caught on video. This month, a man was recorded incessantly licking a shoe and another stripped down and began attacking passebys.

"That's definitely the craziest thing I've seen on the subway ride," Wenzel said of the show Wednesday.

"You get used to the musicians, the good ones, the bad ones, but I've never seen a man in 4-inch heels."

While the rest of the passengers on the train had a general mix of confusion, amusement and apathy, according to Wenzel, it wasn't a bad distraction for a late-night subway ride.

"He was actually pretty good," Wenzel said of the pole dancer. "I was impressed by the part at the end."
