Brooklyn, NY - Lawsuit after Ring Couldn't Get Off Finger

Diamonds weren't this girl's best friend.

A Brooklyn woman claims a day of ring shopping at the swanky Chanel store on East 57th Street went from dazzling to horrifying when a sparkling diamond stunner got stuck on her finger.

Rosy Mizrachi Gindi had to be taken to the emergency room after staff at the store couldn't slip the ring off her hand.

Gindi spent three or four hours at the hospital, where medical staff managed to get the ring off without cutting it, said her lawyer, Michael David.

The ring was worth "at least $10,000. It could have been a lot more," said David, who didn't know the exact price.

Gindi is suing the famous French fashion house in Brooklyn Supreme Court for unspecified damages.
