Lohan arrived at a L.A. court Wednesday for her arraignment hearing after being charged with one count of felony grand theft, Fox News Channel reported.

The 24-year-old actress was greeted by the throngs of reporters waiting outside the Los Angeles Airport Courthouse, where Lohan will enter a plea before Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Keith Schwartz.

Lohan is accused of stealing a $2,500 necklace from a Los Angeles jewelry store in late January.

"We vehemently deny these allegations and, if charges are filed, we will fight them in court, not in the press," Lohan's lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, said in a statement over the weekend when allegations of the theft were first reported.

Lohan claimed the necklace was loaned to her by the jewelry boutique and that it was her stylist who should have returned it to the store, according to TMZ.

Lohan, who is currently on probation for a 2007 DUI case, recently wrapped up a three-month court-ordered stay at a rehab facility -- her fifth stint in rehab -- after testing positive for cocaine while on probation.

The troubled actress is still under investigation by police in Riverside, Calif., for allegedly assaulting an employee of the Betty Ford Center, where she was in treatment until January 3.

In October, the judge overseeing her case warned Lohan that any further slip-ups during her probation could land her behind bars for at least six months.

She spent 14 days behind bars in July for violating the terms of her 2007 DUI probation
