Angelina Jolie should go to Israel, says dad Jon Voight

Estranged father, Jon Voight, is reaching out to his daughter once again. It seems he does this every decade or so, yet sadly, the bond just is not there. Voight has starred in movies like, "Midnight Cowboy," "Deliverance" and "Coming Home" among several others.

Voight is visiting Israel with close friend and likely U.S. Presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. He says she is well aware of his "affection for Israel and the Jewish people," but has no idea what her views are on Israel.

He told the Associated Press that he would "love to see" his daughter at his side "coming on a visit to Israel."

He adds, "That would be a nice thing before I go." What did he mean by this statement? Is he insinuating he is going to die before he gets a chance to bond with Angie? Is this their only chance at a reconciliation and strengthened relationship? If that is the case, hopefully Angelina takes this plea seriously so that she has no regrets.
