Cops yesterday nabbed a career criminal wanted in a push-in robbery spree last week that targeted women as they entered their Upper East Side apartments, officials said.
Tyrone Hunter, 55, who was released from prison last month after serving 24 years for burglary, was charged with robbery and assault for victimizing five women last Wednesday and Thanksgiving, cops said.
The suspect allegedly grabbed cash, jewelry and an iPod from his victims, who were not hurt.
The ex-con, who was staying with his sister in The Bronx, has spent more than 30 years in state prison, including an eight-year stint for rape.
