Teens arranged chairs in front of temple into shape of giant swastika, cops say
A pair of dimwitted teen bigots were busted after arranging 28 folding chairs into the shape of a giant swastika in front of a Long Island temple, police said.
Staff at North Shore Sephardic Synagogue in Great Neck, L.I., discovered the 12-by-12-foot hate symbol in the parking lot around 7 p.m. Saturday, authorities said.
The dopey duo were caught on synagogue security cameras skateboarding to the scene of the crime, authorities said.
Police searched the area and busted Erik Bracamonte, 16, of Port Washington, L.I., after finding him skateboarding nearby. Detectives arrested Joseph Cianciulli, 16, also of Port Washington, at his home at 1:10 a.m. Sunday, authorities said. Both are charged with first degree aggravated harassment.
