Bank of America ATMs across N.J. are targeted in scheme

Authorities are seeking thieves who set up a scheme to rig Bank of America ATMs and scam customers out of thousands, according to a report by CBS.

Customers have started reporting large sums of money missing from their accounts, the report said. One South Jersey man is missing $1,500 from his account — withdrawals have been made from Moonachie, Hackensack and New York City, even though he was nowhere near those places, the report said.
