As she released a joint statement with estranged husband Tom Cruise regarding the dissolution of their marriage, and her lawyer confirmed a settlement, Katie Holmes seemed to be in high spirits
"It was a team effort, and we appreciate the cooperation of Katie's attorneys in this matter," said Cruise’s lawyer Marilyn Chinitz, who worked with her fellow Blank Rome firm attorneys Sheila Riesel and Dylan Mitchell in representing the “Mission Impossible” star.
No details of the custody agreement were made public.
"That’s a private matter between the parties,” said Chinitz, who has previously represented another superstar actor in a matrimonial action, Michael Douglas.
Radar Online reported this afternoon that Holmes will have primary custody of their daughter Suri, 6.
Cruise will also be barred from talking about his Scientology faith with Suri, the Web site reported.
