In surveillance photo, man ID'd as Brian Cashman meets Louise Neathway in hallway of her building at 7:31 p.m. on Jan. 19.
Surveillance photos obtained by the Daily News show Yankees general manager Brian Cashman at a bar with his accused stalker and then slipping out of her apartment building the next morning.
The images at the Landmarc restaurant that Louise Neathway say were captured on the night of Jan. 19 show her and Cashman huddled together while seated at the bar.
The couple appear to be sharing food and drinking wine. Images show Cashman making animated gestures and Neathway touching his arm and cracking up in laughter.
A second set of time-stamped photos and video show a man she says is Cashman creeping into her Tribeca apartment building after dinner.
The couple spent the night together, according to Neathway, and a man with a cap pulled down over part of his face can be seen leaving the Leonard St. building from a service exit at 5:41 a.m. the next day.
“It was a really good night,” the British blond recalled. Cashman and his alleged stalker shared the playful dinner just 12 days before Neathway was arrested.
The meal in lower Manhattan was also a day after prosecutors say the woman extorted money from Cashman.
Approached Tuesday in Florida, where the Bombers are in spring training, the Yankees executive had little to say. “I’ve got no comment,” he said.
Neathway, on the other hand, was chatty from Rikers Island.
She poked fun at Cashman leaving her apartment with his hat drawn down. “I’d say, ‘Who do you think you are, Derek Jeter?’ ” she recalled. “He said, ‘You know, Louise, you think this is funny?’ “It was weird because . . . he always thinks everyone’s out to get him.”
The images, according to sources close to Neathway, will be part of their arsenal of evidence to rebut Cashman’s claims that she was just a crazed stalker shaking him down for money.
“He stayed the night ,” she told The News. “I think it shows I’m telling the truth.” According to the sources close to Neathway, the first of the Leonard St. shots show her texting Cashman as she exits a building elevator to meet with him.
She lets Cashman in through a service entrance because he’s uncomfortable coming through the lobby, Neathway said.
The man in the grainy photos is wearing a black ski cap pulled down low on his head. He’s captured coming into the building at 7:31 p.m., waiting for the elevator up to Neathway’s apartment.
The low-profile entrance was part of Cashman’s insistence on furtive meetings and face-to-face conversations, she said.
“He was always wearing a hat or a hoodie and he hated texts,” said Neathway. “He’d say, ‘That’s forever.’ ” Neathway, 36, is scheduled to testify in front of a Manhattan grand jury Thursday.
The Yankees GM was at Criminal Court in Manhattan last week, raising speculation that he testified against his former paramour. Cashman’s wife of 16 years filed for divorce when her husband’s 10-month affair became public.
Cashman, the father of two, said he paid Neathway $6,000 in hush money — only to have her demand another $15,000. Neathway, whose brushes with the law include 13 orders of protection against her, is currently jailed on $200,000 bond.
